Concept project Health Physiotherapy, Wrocław

Physiotherapy clinic websiteProsto.

A clinic website that starts by asking what you want to get back to.

Prosto is a made-up physiotherapy clinic in Wrocław’s Old Town. The website leads patients from their problem to a specific appointment: first it asks what hurts, then it estimates how many visits that usually takes and what it costs, shows who will lead the treatment and lets them book a free slot. After booking, patients get their own zone: their goal, exercises and progress from every visit.

This is a concept project. Prosto is a made-up business, but the website really works: you can click through it on desktop, tablet and phone. The forms do not send data anywhere. It was designed for a Polish business; here you see its English version.

How we thought it through

Five decisions behind this website.

  1. 01

    The problem

Patients do not know the name of the treatment they need. They only know that their knee or back hurts.

    What we did

A “Where does it hurt?” section: you click the place that hurts and read what often causes it, what we do and how long it usually takes. No diagnosis over the internet.

    What it gives

Patients see right away that they have come to the right place, before they even get in touch.

  2. 02

    The problem

Clinic price lists are long tables where it is hard to find your own problem.

    What we did

Treatments and prices with a filter by problem: spine, sports and injuries, after surgery, pregnancy and birth, foot. Each treatment shows its duration and price.

    What it gives

Instead of reading the whole table, patients see only what concerns them.

  3. 03

    The problem

Booking by phone only works when the front desk picks up.

    What we did

Online booking in four steps: what hurts, the type of visit, the physiotherapist and the time. The calendar knows everyone’s schedule and will not offer a visit that does not fit before closing.

    What it gives

Patients book in the evening from the couch, and the clinic gets a ready appointment with a description of the problem.

  4. 04

    The problem

Patients do not know how many visits they will need or what they will pay, so they put off booking.

    What we did

A plan calculator next to the price list: what hurts, since when, and what you want to get back to. In a second you see the usual number of visits drawn as a trail, the cost with and without a package, and the physiotherapist who will lead the treatment.

    What it gives

Patients know what they are signing up for before they get in touch, and see right away how much they save with a package.

  5. 05

    The problem

After a visit, patients get a sheet of exercises, lose it within a week and cannot see that they are getting better.

    What we did

A patient zone with SMS code login: the goal as a trail with the upcoming visits, exercises with instructions and days to tick off, a history of measurements and the next visit, which can be moved or canceled. A visit booked on the website shows up here right away.

    What it gives

Patients see their progress and come back for more visits instead of quitting halfway through the plan.

Inside

Pages that do the work.

Where does it hurt?

You choose what hurts

A trail from the neck to the feet. Click a spot to see the most common causes, what we do during the visit, how many visits it usually takes and who on the team handles it.

Plan calculator

How many visits and how much, before you get in touch

Three questions and the result right away: the usual number of visits, the cost with and without a package, the savings and the physiotherapist for that problem. The button leads to booking with the chosen problem.

Booking

An appointment booked in a minute

Four short steps and a summary on the side that updates as you go: the type of visit, the physiotherapist, the time and the price.

Patient zone

Goal, exercises and progress in one place

Login with a phone number and an SMS code. Inside: the goal on a trail of upcoming visits, the next visit, exercises with instructions to tick off and the history of measurements from every visit.

Advice

Physiotherapists’ advice and a newsletter

Articles with exercises to do at home, categories in trail colors, sharing and a sign-up for one exercise a week.
